Ezra's Timeline of Suspected Remarkables' Activity Throughout History
The Nephilim - Genesis 6:4 - A bible verse that says that there were “giants of old” from the “daughters of man” and the “sons of god”. This is PRE-Flood we’re talking, not sure what number that puts it on the timeline but it’s far back
Hercules - a Greek hero rumored to be a descendent of the Greek gods, but put in our recent context, perhaps a Remarkable.
December 25-26, 1776 – George Washington crosses the Delaware River – Washington is able to cross the icy river when other commanders were not. This was the first of three “impossible” crossings Washington was able to make during the Revolutionary War. Could Washington have been America’s first Remarkable?
1932 – World Series, game 3 - Babe Ruth’s famous called shot - He points to outfield and hits a homerun right to that spot. Perhaps The Babe was a Remarkable or perhaps the boy he promised the homer to was a Remarkable and The Babe received a boost to his batting prowess through shedding? Remarkable regardless of any super powers.
1945 - WW2 – “Fat Man” and “Little Boy” – Declassified documents reveal that the two atomic bombs dropped by the Allies on Japan, were in fact two Remarkables, a father and son who gave all to bring an end the war.
1963 – JFK Assassination in Dallas – There is a reason no one has ever proved conclusively what happened in Dallas, but unclear as of yet. There have been many allusions in pop culture to the possible presence of Remarkables, but there is no conclusive evidence. Awaiting the final documents to be released in 2017.
1968 – World Olympics, Mexico - Bob Beamon long jumps 29 feet, setting a new world record by nearly two feet at the time. This record stood for 22 years and 316 day before it was beaten.
1971 - Apollo 15 lands on the moon and uses the Lunar Rover vehicle for the first time. Some believe this was made possible through aid from a Remarkable, while some believe it was to place the first Remarkable criminal in a secret prison on the dark side of the moon
Additional Theory – Stanley Kubrick was a Remarkable, possibly came from outer space. This is why he is linked to “fake film” of landing and why 2001 is so accurate in its portrayal of deep space.
1972 – The Watergate Scandal - Could “Deep Throat” have been a Remarkable – Only Woodward and Bernstein would know for sure.
1972 – World Olympics, Munich - The Israeli Athlete hostage crisis. Failed rescue by a Remarkable?
1977 - Scientists report genetic engineering techniques to make insulin. I believe scientists would be open to working with Remarkables in the effort to create new advancements in medicine and technology.
1980 -The wreck of the Titanic is found - Could Dr. Robert Ballard, head of the expedition, actually been an oceanic Remarkable who was helping us put to rest discord that occurred when Remarkables were too fearful of revealing themselves? Or perhaps he was making amends for not being able to save the Titanic? So many questions!
1985 - Scientists announce the discovery of hole in the ozone layer over the Antarctic - Too suspicious and coincidental to believe this happened naturally and is not the plot of a villainous Remarkable to melt the ice cap and flood the planet.
1986 - U.S. House ends Reagan's Star Wars anti-missle program - Looking back, one wonders if The Patriot, who is dedicated to preserving peace and the American way, was already working for the U.S. government, thus making an expensive computer-controlled defense system seem redundant.
1988 - First computer virus is reported. After revealing his Remarkable status in 1990, soon to be master criminal, The Maverick, retroactively claims responsibility for being the one who figured out how to create the virus. This begins a new era of the types of protection required for normalcy to be maintained. Bill Gates will take this very seriously and hired a Remarkable with genius-level computer coding skills. This will be one of the first Remarkables on official payroll in the private security sector.
1988 - The U.S. and Canada reach a free trade agreement - After The Patriot reveals himself to the world in 1989, he and Richter. Canada's new, small earthquake creating Remarkable, use the provisions of this agreement to regularly cross boarders and help each other prevent Maverick’s henchmen from carrying out his shadowy schemes.
Additionally, Richter forgives the LA Times for blaming him for the earthquake that happened the previous year in Los Angeles. Turns out, it was just an earthquake.
June 23, 1989 - The Patriot reveals himself to the world – Everything changes as the world must now learn how to deal with the truth that super humans exist and are among us.
Side Note - This was the same day Tim Burton’s Batman was released and two years after the fifth Superman movie was released
Theory - Super heroes creating resurgence in popular culture makes it safe for The Patriot to reveal himself. Also, may have been orchestrated by toy companies to sell more product?
1989 - Berlin Wall falls - Time magazine reveals that Remarkables have been present in the East, but have been kept secret by the Soviets, unlike the West, which has embraced them.
1994 - The Hubble Space Telescope first finds evidence of black holes in the universe. This discovery made again by Super Eyes, a 4-year old Remarkable with enhanced vision, who caused a slight panic when he told his mother, “I see holes in the sky.” Black holes were not confirmed by human scientists till 2001.
1999 - Tobacco companies admit that their products harm smokers. Even Remarkables are not immune to the dangers of smoking. (Except those with super healing) The Whizzer, once the fastest man alive, and Telescooper, a Remarkable with legs that can stretch to high atmospheres, both succumb to health conditions related to being lifetime smokers.
2001 - The epidemic of foot and mouth disease in British livestock reaches crisis proportions. Maverick again claims responsibility.
2005 - YouTube posts its first videos. Youtube would soon become a place where many younger Remarkables would post-their super human feats as a way of making it safe for their friends to accept them. Even so, with the availability of computer editing and CG software, many of these videos are fake. This brings up the ever-present question, “Just how many real Remarkables are there?”
2010 - Behind the Mask, the documentary that tried to uncover the secret identity of The Maverick – The film proposes that Skip Stevenson, the billionaire, is actually the Maverick. Many already think he is The Maverick and this is the first piece of “investigative journalism” that shows reasonable proof that he actually IS this shady individual.
After being in theaters for only two days, the movie is suddenly pulled from release, but then, just as mysteriously, it was posted online by YouTuber, EnlightenedShado572, and goes viral. It gets over 6 million views in its first 24-hours online. Furthermore, the filmmaker’s whereabouts are unknown.
2013 – Meteor explodes over Chelyabinsk, Russia – Scientists discover that this meteor is composed of elements close to, but not of our Earth. Becomes first evidence of a solid object crossing from another dimension to ours. Meteor fragments later mysteriously disappear.
2014 – Major mudslide in Oso, Washington – the Patriot does all he can to hold back the mud but the natural disaster is just too much for one remarkable to defeat. He is buried under the mud that overwhelms him and feared dead. It is four days before he can dig himself out. What began as a tragic event sparks nationwide celebration of his survival.
2015 – Gorilla population in the DR Congo quadruple – Park Rangers are overjoyed to report a “Tarzan-like presence has taken up residence and is helping to protect this beautiful endangered species.”
2016 – The Patriot accused of inappropriate conduct – In shocking news, a lawsuit is filed against The Patriot by a former intern. The Patriot is accused of sexual harassment. Trial date and verdict still to be determined.
